Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, blueberries, and grated ginger. Bring to a gentle boil.
  2. Once boiling, add sugar and stir until fully dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Lower heat and gently mash blueberries. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and cover to steep for 2-3 hours.
  5. Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl to separate solids.
  6. To serve, fill glasses with chilled syrup, add ice, and top with lemon-lime sparkling water.
  7. Garnish with fresh blueberries and mint leaves before enjoying.
