Preparation Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, blueberries, and grated ginger. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, add sugar and stir until fully dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.
- Lower heat and gently mash blueberries. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cover to steep for 2-3 hours.
- Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl to separate solids.
- To serve, fill glasses with chilled syrup, add ice, and top with lemon-lime sparkling water.
