Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring salted water to a boil, add the macaroni and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 125ml of starchy pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet, melt butter, add garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender and onions are translucent.
  3. Add the Beef: Crumble ground beef into the skillet, cook until browned (5-7 minutes), using salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes to season.
  4. Make it Creamy: Lower heat, add cream cheese, mozzarella, and cheese slices. Stir until melted and creamy, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Bring it Together: Add reserved pasta water and macaroni to the skillet. Stir until well-coated in sauce, adjusting thickness with more pasta water if needed.
