  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 leaf bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef for about 4–5 minutes until browned. Add the diced onion and cook for another 3 minutes, then stir in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Transfer the beef mixture to a slow cooker. Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped celery, drained beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Add Worcestershire sauce and chosen spices, stirring gently.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or on HIGH for 3–4 hours until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove the bay leaf, adjust seasoning if necessary, and serve warm, garnished with parsley, sour cream, or shredded cheese if desired.
