  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the medium shells pasta and cook for 7-8 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, imitation crab meat, thawed peas, chopped red onion, diced celery, and red bell pepper. Fold in mayonnaise and fresh dill.
  3. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  4. Serve the salad chilled, garnished with fresh chives. Optionally drizzle with lemon juice.
