  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Adjust based on spice tolerance.
  • to taste Salt & Pepper Essential for flavor.
For the Pita
  • 4 pieces Pita Bread Use fresh, sturdy pita.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Can replace with avocado oil.
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Sautéed for vegetarian option.
  • 1 cup Lentils Cook until tender.
  • 1 cup Cheese (Mozzarella or Akkawi) For extra creaminess.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with finely chopped parsley, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well using your hands.
  2. Carefully cut the pita bread in half to create a pocket and pack the beef filling into each half.
  3. Heat a grill, cast-iron skillet, or non-stick pan to medium heat and drizzle a little olive oil.
  4. Place the stuffed pitas in the preheated skillet or grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on one side.
  5. Carefully flip each pita and cook the other side for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove the pitas from the heat and let them rest before slicing in half. Serve warm.
