- Preheat the oven according to the chocolate cake mix package instructions and grease a 9x13 inch dish. Prepare the chocolate cake batter as directed and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, around 25-30 minutes. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
- Poke holes evenly across the cake surface with a wooden spoon and drizzle warm hot fudge sauce over the cake.
- Whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix with milk until smooth, then pour over the top of the cake. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
- Prepare the topping by whisking pudding mix with milk, folding in Cool Whip and crushed Oreos.
- Spread the Oreo topping mixture over the pudding layer and sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top. Refrigerate until serving, at least 2 hours.
- Slice into generous portions and serve chilled.
