  • 1 container Cool Whip Whipped cream is a great substitute.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven according to the chocolate cake mix package instructions and grease a 9x13 inch dish. Prepare the chocolate cake batter as directed and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, around 25-30 minutes. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.
  2. Poke holes evenly across the cake surface with a wooden spoon and drizzle warm hot fudge sauce over the cake.
  3. Whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix with milk until smooth, then pour over the top of the cake. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
  4. Prepare the topping by whisking pudding mix with milk, folding in Cool Whip and crushed Oreos.
  5. Spread the Oreo topping mixture over the pudding layer and sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top. Refrigerate until serving, at least 2 hours.
  6. Slice into generous portions and serve chilled.
