- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the butter, sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, and shredded coconut. Stir gently to mix thoroughly.
- Continue cooking the mixture while stirring constantly for about 10 to 15 minutes or until it thickens slightly.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in the heavy cream until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or jars, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Place the filled cups in the refrigerator and let chilling for at least 2 to 3 hours to set.
- Serve chilled and garnish with desired toppings.
