  • 2 cups Potatoes diced
  • 2 medium Carrots sliced
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
For Flavoring
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil or vegetable/canola oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika or chili powder for heat
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Wrapping
  • 4 sheets Aluminum Foil each measuring approximately 12 inches

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven or grill to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, diced potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped onion, and olive oil. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  3. Cut four pieces of aluminum foil, each measuring approximately 12 inches long. Lay them flat, shiny side up.
  4. Spoon portions of the mixture into the center of each piece of foil. Fold the sides over and roll the ends tightly to seal.
  5. Place the packets on the grill or a baking sheet in the oven. Cook for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through if grilling.
  6. Carefully remove the packets from the grill/oven using tongs. Let cool slightly before opening.
