Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the simple syrup by combining equal parts water and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat until sugar dissolves, about 3-5 minutes, then cool.
  2. Muddle 2 teaspoons of cooled simple syrup with 6 fresh raspberries in a cocktail shaker to release their juices, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add 3 mint leaves to the muddled raspberry mixture and gently muddle for 15 seconds to release the mint's aroma.
  4. Pour 2 ounces of ginger ale into the glass with the raspberry and mint mixture, stir gently.
  5. Fill the glass with crushed ice to chill the drink.
