  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free.
  • 1 cup Crushed Pineapple Opt for canned packed in juice.
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic Fresh is best, but powdered works too.
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger Fresh ginger can substitute.
For Thickening
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch Mix well with water before adding.
  • 1/4 cup Water
For Garnish (optional)
  • Sliced Green Onions
  • Sesame Seeds

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, crushed pineapple, minced garlic, ground ginger, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring every piece is well-coated.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set it aside on a cutting board.
  6. Whisk together cornstarch and water to create a smooth slurry. Pour this into the slow cooker, stirring well.
  7. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and let it cook for an additional 10-15 minutes on high.
  8. Slice or shred the chicken and serve it over rice or noodles, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
