  1. Prep the vegetables: peel and cut sweet potatoes, dice carrots and onion, and mince garlic.
  2. Sauté the base: heat olive oil in a large pot, add sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic; sauté for 10 minutes.
  3. Add liquid and seasonings: pour in vegetable stock, add paprika, cinnamon, and turmeric; bring to gentle boil.
  4. Simmer the soup: reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes until tender.
  5. Blend until smooth: remove from heat, let cool, and blend until creamy.
