Cooking Instructions
- Remove the sirloin steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to reach room temperature. Pat dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Preheat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes. Add olive oil, swirling to coat the bottom.
- Sear the steaks for 2 minutes without moving them. Flip and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes for medium doneness, aiming for an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Prepare the garlic butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Remove steaks from the skillet, top with garlic butter, and let rest for 5 minutes.
- If desired, sauté the asparagus in the remaining skillet flavors for 8 to 10 minutes until tender.

Notes
Allowing the steak to rest is key to retaining its juices and enhancing flavor. Customize the side vegetables as preferred.
