  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil You can substitute with vegetable oil if needed.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to your taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to your taste.
For the Garlic Butter
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted is preferred.
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic Fresh garlic is ideal.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped fresh.
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme You can substitute with dried thyme but lessen the quantity.
For the Side
  • 1 bunch Asparagus You can swap it for green beans or broccoli.

Cooking Instructions
  1. Remove the sirloin steaks from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to allow them to reach room temperature. Pat dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat a heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes. Add olive oil, swirling to coat the bottom.
  3. Sear the steaks for 2 minutes without moving them. Flip and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes for medium doneness, aiming for an internal temperature of 145°F.
  4. Prepare the garlic butter by mixing softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Remove steaks from the skillet, top with garlic butter, and let rest for 5 minutes.
  6. If desired, sauté the asparagus in the remaining skillet flavors for 8 to 10 minutes until tender.
