Preparation Steps
  1. Season the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Let sit for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Carefully add the marinated sea bass fillets and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Sauté minced garlic and ginger in the same skillet for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add chopped green onions and cook for about 30 seconds until softened.
  6. Return the crispy sea bass to the skillet and drizzle in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Toss gently for about a minute.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as needed.
  8. Transfer to serving dishes and enjoy immediately with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables.
