  • 1 bunch Asparagus Can substitute with bell peppers or zucchini

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Marinade: Whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, hot sauce (if using), lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and onion powder in a medium bowl. Cut chicken into 1-inch chunks and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Blanch the Asparagus: Trim tough ends and blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes. Transfer to ice water to stop cooking.
  3. Assemble the Skewers: Thread marinated chicken and asparagus onto skewers, leaving space for even cooking.
  4. Preheat the Grill: Set grill to medium-high heat (375°F / 190°C) and brush with oil.
  5. Grill the Skewers: Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning until chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 75°C).
  6. Serve with Style: Remove skewers from the grill, sprinkle with chili flakes and parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
