Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks for about 5 minutes until browned.
  2. Add minced onion and diced bell pepper. Season with salt and pepper, and sauté for 4-5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, water, maple syrup, vinegar, and chili powder. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Increase heat until mixture boils, then reduce to low. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving on gluten-free buns or over sweet potatoes.
