Step-by-Step Instructions for Iced Mocha Latte
- Start by brewing a cup of your favorite coffee or espresso using a coffee maker or espresso machine. Aim for about 8 ounces of strong brew, as this will provide the flavor foundation for your Iced Mocha Latte. Once brewed, allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes.
- While the coffee is cooling, prepare your chocolate syrup. In a small heat-safe cup, add about 1-2 tablespoons of cacao powder and an optional scoop of maca powder for a nutritional boost. Carefully pour in a few tablespoons of boiling water and stir vigorously until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Once the coffee is cooled, grab a tall glass and fill it with ice cubes to your preference, leaving some space at the top. Carefully pour the cooled coffee over the ice cubes.
- Pour the prepared chocolate syrup into the glass with iced coffee. Then, add about 1/2 cup of almond milk to the mix. Stir all the ingredients gently until well combined.
- Your Iced Mocha Latte is ready to be enjoyed! Serve immediately.
