For the Layers
  • 1 box Vanilla Wafers (e.g., Nilla Wafers) Graham crackers can be used as a twist.
  • 4 medium Ripe Bananas (sliced) Choose slightly underripe bananas for firm slices.
Optional Garnishes
  • 1 cup Extra whipped topping For an extra layer of creaminess.
  • 1/2 cup Crushed vanilla wafers For added crunch.
  • 1 medium Fresh banana slices To enhance freshness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and 2 cups of cold whole milk for about 2 minutes. The mixture should thickens and becomes glossy.
  2. Stir in one cup of sweetened condensed milk into the thickened pudding mixture, blending well until fully combined. Cover and place in the refrigerator for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in 1 ½ cups of thawed frozen whipped topping using a spatula until fluffy and smooth.
  4. Layer the pudding mixture at the bottom of a trifle dish, followed by a layer of vanilla wafers and freshly sliced bananas. Repeat until you’ve used all ingredients, with pudding as the last layer.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Before serving, garnish with extra whipped topping, crushed vanilla wafers, and fresh banana slices.
