Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of vegetable oil. Allow the oil to heat for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Sear them in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together cream cheese, unsalted butter, cream of chicken soup, minced garlic, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix until smooth.
  4. Spray the crock pot with non-stick spray. Place seared chicken at the bottom and pour the sauce mixture over it.
  5. Cover and slow cook on low for 3-4 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Boil salted water and cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions, about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Serve the chicken whole or shredded over the pasta, garnished with parsley, cracked pepper, and Parmesan cheese.
