  • 1 cup Water for batter
  • cup Canola or Vegetable Oil for moisture
  • 3 large Eggs for binding

  • 15 ounces Ricotta Cheese whole milk for richness
  • ¾ cup Granulated Sugar for sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract to enhance flavors
  • 2 large Eggs for binding
For the Topping
  • 3.5 ounces Instant Chocolate Pudding or any desired flavor
  • 2 cups Milk whole milk for richness
  • 8 ounces Whipped Topping (Cool Whip) or homemade whipped cream

Method
 

Making the Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs and blend well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the chocolate batter into the greased dish, then gently pour the ricotta mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 1 to 1.5 hours until set; let cool for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix pudding with cold milk until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
  7. Fold in the whipped topping until blended, then spread over the cooled cake.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  9. Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature.
