Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter, ½ cup of granulated sugar, and ½ cup of brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth.

  6. Fold in 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and any optional add-ins.
