- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with melted butter.
- Sauté sliced kielbasa sausage in a large skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Mix in chopped onion and seasonings until smooth.
- Fold in frozen diced hash brown potatoes and sautéed kielbasa into the mixture.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, level it out, and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes, then uncover for the last 15 minutes of baking.
