  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Adds umami and moisture.
  • 1 large Egg Optional, acts as a binding agent.
For Topping (optional)
  • 1 cup Cheese Sprinkle on top for a melted finish; choose your favorite type.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice a small head of cabbage into thick ½ inch rounds and brush both sides with olive oil.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine your choice of ground beef or turkey with chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and egg if using.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into patties that fit snugly on the cabbage rounds.
  5. Place each patty on top of the cabbage rounds on the baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. For a melty finish, add shredded cheese after baking and broil for 3 to 5 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.
