  2. Wash and slice 6 ripe peaches, then mix with sugars, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, turbinado sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly, then mix in buttermilk.
