  • 1 cup fresh raspberries or thawed frozen raspberries if fresh aren’t available
  • 1–2 tablespoons sugar to enhance natural sweetness
For the Creamy Mixture
  • ½ cup half-and-half or coconut cream for a dairy-free option
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract/syrup use sparingly for balance
For the Fizz
  • 1 can Dr. Pepper ensure it's well-chilled
  • as needed ice for serving

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by rinsing 1 cup of fresh raspberries under cold water and placing them in a blender. Add 1–2 tablespoons of sugar and blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of half-and-half with 1 teaspoon of coconut extract or syrup, stirring well. Set aside to allow flavors to develop.
  3. Fill a 16-ounce glass halfway with ice. Pour chilled Dr. Pepper into the glass, filling it about ¾ full. Add 2 tablespoons of raspberry puree and 2 tablespoons of the creamy mixture.
  4. Top off with a splash more of Dr. Pepper and gently stir with a long spoon. Serve immediately with extra raspberries for garnish.
