Preparation Steps
- Start by rinsing 1 cup of fresh raspberries under cold water and placing them in a blender. Add 1–2 tablespoons of sugar and blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine ½ cup of half-and-half with 1 teaspoon of coconut extract or syrup, stirring well. Set aside to allow flavors to develop.
- Fill a 16-ounce glass halfway with ice. Pour chilled Dr. Pepper into the glass, filling it about ¾ full. Add 2 tablespoons of raspberry puree and 2 tablespoons of the creamy mixture.
- Top off with a splash more of Dr. Pepper and gently stir with a long spoon. Serve immediately with extra raspberries for garnish.
