- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare your ingredients.
- In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned. Add minced onion and mix.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, salt, and pepper until frothy.
- In a greased baking dish, layer ¾ of the sausage mixture and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Add remaining sausage and cheese on top and return to oven for 10-15 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serve warm.
