- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather ingredients and equipment.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage and add dried minced onion, cooking for additional minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Grease the 9x13 inch casserole dish. Layer with 3/4 of the cooked sausage and half of the cheddar cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and cheese evenly.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes until the center is jiggly.
- Top with reserved sausage and remaining cheese and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
