Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add all-purpose flour, egg, and melted unsalted butter. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 7-10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place the kneaded dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for 60-90 minutes in a warm spot.
  4. Melt together unsalted butter, cream, and sugar in a saucepan, then add dark chocolate chips and brewed coffee. Stir until smooth.
  5. Roll out the dough into a 12x14-inch rectangle, spread the chocolate espresso filling, cut, and roll into individual rolls.
  6. Cover the rolls and let them rise for 30-45 minutes in a warm place.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F. Drizzle rolls with heavy cream and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Mix icing sugar, instant coffee, and cream in a bowl. Drizzle over warm rolls.
