- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for about 1 hour, until soft. Peel and mash once cooled.
- Lower the oven temperature to 325°F (163°C) for even baking.
- Grease a 12-cup Bundt pan with unsalted butter and coat lightly with sugar or flour.
- Beat the softened butter and packed light brown sugar together for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
