Preparation
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Place the vegetables (carrots, onions, garlic, celery) in the slow cooker.
- Add the seasoned roast on top of the vegetables.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 4-5 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the roast and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Slice and serve with the prepared vegetables and cooking liquid.
