Main Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until it shimmers, about 2 minutes.
  2. Add 1 cup of diced onions and 1 cup of chopped green bell peppers to the pot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of uncooked long-grain white rice and toast it for approximately 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Stir and bring to a gentle boil for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, keep covered, and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh parsley, then serve warm.
