Ingredients

Lemonade Base
  • 1 cup Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice About 4-6 lemons will yield this amount.
  • 4 cups Water Using filtered water improves the overall taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest Finely grated; fresh zest offers a robust aroma.
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar Consider using a sugar substitute for a lighter version.
Berry Mix
  • 1.5 cups Frozen Triple Berry Blend Thawed or use 2 cups of fresh mixed berries for vibrant color.

Equipment

  • blender
  • fine mesh strainer
  • Medium-sized pot
  • Large pitcher

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by thawing 1½ cups of frozen triple berry blend or using 2 cups of fresh mixed berries. Once thawed, place the berries in a fine mesh strainer over a bowl to capture the delicious juices as they drain.
  2. In a medium-sized pot, combine 2 cups of water and granulated sugar. Heat over medium-high, stirring occasionally until the mixture reaches a gentle boil. Allow it to boil for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Once the simple syrup has cooled, stir in 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of finely grated lemon zest.
  4. In a blender, pour in 1 cup of the cooled lemon mixture along with the strained berries. Blend until completely smooth.
  5. Using a fine mesh sieve, strain the blended berry puree over a clean bowl, gently pressing with a silicone spatula to extract all the juice.
  6. Pour the strained berry juice back into the bowl with the remaining lemon mixture, then add the last 2 cups of water. Stir until well mixed.
  7. Transfer the lemonade into a large pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Once chilled, pour the Triple Berry Lemonade over ice in tall glasses and garnish with fresh mint leaves, lemon slices, and additional berries.
