Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the lean ground beef with all-purpose seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix gently and shape into eight patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chopped bacon until crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Let it drain on paper towels.
- Utilize the remaining bacon grease, add a tablespoon of butter, and cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until slightly undercooked.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter along with diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté until onions are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the cooked bacon to the skillet, pour in the whiskey and let it reduce for about 2-3 minutes. Add BBQ sauce and let it simmer.
- Gently place the cooked patties into the sauce mixture and allow them to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Butter the insides of slider buns and toast them in a griddle or skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a beef patty on each bottom bun, spooning bacon and onion sauce over the patty, and topping with the other half of the bun.
