Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the lean ground beef with all-purpose seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix gently and shape into eight patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chopped bacon until crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Let it drain on paper towels.
  3. Utilize the remaining bacon grease, add a tablespoon of butter, and cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until slightly undercooked.
  4. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter along with diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté until onions are golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked bacon to the skillet, pour in the whiskey and let it reduce for about 2-3 minutes. Add BBQ sauce and let it simmer.
  6. Gently place the cooked patties into the sauce mixture and allow them to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Butter the insides of slider buns and toast them in a griddle or skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Assemble the sliders by placing a beef patty on each bottom bun, spooning bacon and onion sauce over the patty, and topping with the other half of the bun.
