Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread chopped nuts evenly across the bottom of the dish and optionally add shredded coconut.
  3. Combine chocolate cake mix with milk in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  4. Blend softened cream cheese with melted butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Dollop cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips on top before baking.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until edges are firm and center is slightly jiggly.
